Most AI attention is still focused on software. Physical AI moves intelligence into machines that must perceive changing environments, make decisions, and safely perform work in the real world.

Ottonomy is building at that intersection. Its autonomous delivery robots are designed to navigate indoor and outdoor environments, while its Ottumn.AI platform is intended to coordinate robots, drones, elevators, smart lockers, and other connected infrastructure. In recent public updates, the company said its Ottobots were operating across 14 geographies and participating in healthcare workflows.

A March 2026 pilot with Sodexo Australia at Rio Tinto’s Gudai-Darri mining operation points to the larger opportunity. The same underlying autonomy and orchestration capabilities can extend from hospitals to industrial sites and other environments where moving supplies reliably is operationally important.

Ottonomy was reported as a VCAFX portfolio holding in the Fund’s Schedule of Investments as of December 31, 2025. The company is included here because it illustrates the physical-AI theme, not as evidence of Fund or company performance.
